2026 Fantasy Outlook
After a six season hiatus from the truck series, Hemric returned last year and planted his flag near the top of the series. The veteran driver would grab his first-career win (Martinsville) and give his MHR team maximum effort with 15 Top-10 finishes. It would all add up to a steady ninth-place finish in the final driver standings for Hermic. He returns to this same race team and crew chief, Kevin Bellicourt, for the 2026 campaign. The duo made a big impression in their first season together and will look to move the bar higher in the upcoming season. Hermic is a steady short track performer but he needs to increase his laps led this season. That would make him a good bet to be a multi-race winner in the new season. Read Past Outlooks
Posts Second Consecutive Top 10
Hemric's ninth-place finish in Friday's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Buckle Up South Carolina 200 at Darlington Raceway was Hemric's second Top-10 finish in a row.
ANALYSIS
After a rough start to the season that saw Hemric drop all the way down to 29th in points, back-to-back Top-10 finishes have moved him up to 14th, putting him back in the playoff battle. The veteran driver will look to make it three Top 10s in a row as the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series heads to Rockingham, where he started 17th and finished third last year, leading one lap in the process.

Hemric drops down from the Cup Series and takes over the dominant truck of Christian Eckes at MHR. Eckes drove the No. 19 Chevrolet to a career-best four wins and 22 Top-10 finishes las season. He would come home third in the championship chase, but by a lot of measures was the most dominant driver of 2024. Hemric will now takeover this strong team and look to equal that success in 2025. The veteran driver has spent the last eight seasons competing either in the Xfinity or Cup Series and at 34-years-old, he's no youngster. Hemric hasn't competed full-time in the trucks since 2016 but it should be a pretty seamless transition for him. He'll be taking over a race-winning caliber team and throw his hat in the ring for the championship.
