2026 Fantasy Outlook
Rhodes has fallen off a bit over the past couple years. The veteran driver posted his second-straight winless campaign in 2025. Rhodes would nab just eight Top-10 finishes last season in the team's No. 99 Ford. That would slot him 12th in the final driver point standings and that would be his lowest ranking since his rookie season in 2016. Rhodes will look to rebound with this team in the upcoming season and try to get back some of that lost performance that he's been missing the last two campaigns. It's assumed Doug George will be back at crew chief for this team, although that's yet to be officially announced. With near-250 truck series starts to his credit, Rhodes has plenty of experience, but getting back into victory lane could be a big challenge. Read Past Outlooks
Top-10 finish in Navy 250
Rhodes finished eighth in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Navy 250 at Naval Base Coronado.
ANALYSIS
Despite hitting the tire barrier in a crash with two laps to go, Rhodes was able to recover in overtime, finishing eighth in the Navy 250. It was the fifth Top-10 finish of the season for the veteran driver and, notably, his first 2026 Top 10 that wasn't also a Top 5. Up next is Lime Rock, where Rhodes finished fourth last season.

The two-time truck series champion had his worst season since the 2019 campaign last year. Rhodes would be locked out of victory lane for the first time since 2019 and would only post nine Top-10 finishes, his lowest total since 2016. Rhodes would limp home a disappointing ninth-place in the final driver standings. The 10-season veteran will look to hit the rest button with this same team in 2025. While the Craftsman Truck Series has generally grown younger over the past few years, the competition has also gotten much more intense. Rhodes has shown race winning potential in the past so we believe he'll get back into the win column, but we don't expect any major movement up the driver standings.
