2026 Fantasy Outlook
Rhodes has fallen off a bit over the past couple years. The veteran driver posted his second-straight winless campaign in 2025. Rhodes would nab just eight Top-10 finishes last season in the team's No. 99 Ford. That would slot him 12th in the final driver point standings and that would be his lowest ranking since his rookie season in 2016. Rhodes will look to rebound with this team in the upcoming season and try to get back some of that lost performance that he's been missing the last two campaigns. It's assumed Doug George will be back at crew chief for this team, although that's yet to be officially announced. With near-250 truck series starts to his credit, Rhodes has plenty of experience, but getting back into victory lane could be a big challenge. Read Past Outlooks
Claims SpeedyCash.com 250 Pole
Rhodes won the pole for the SpeedyCash.com 250 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Texas Motor Speedway on Friday. He turned a fast lap of 185.096 mph.
ANALYSIS
Rhodes built upon a strong practice from earlier in the afternoon at Texas Motor Speedway and took things up a notch in pole qualifying. The ThorSport Racing veteran knocked off Jake Garcia to claim his first pole of the season and seventh-career pole position. Rhodes has been a strong performer at Texas Motor Speedway over the years and should challenge for the win Friday evening in the SpeedyCash.com 250.

The two-time truck series champion had his worst season since the 2019 campaign last year. Rhodes would be locked out of victory lane for the first time since 2019 and would only post nine Top-10 finishes, his lowest total since 2016. Rhodes would limp home a disappointing ninth-place in the final driver standings. The 10-season veteran will look to hit the rest button with this same team in 2025. While the Craftsman Truck Series has generally grown younger over the past few years, the competition has also gotten much more intense. Rhodes has shown race winning potential in the past so we believe he'll get back into the win column, but we don't expect any major movement up the driver standings.
