Mechanical Failure
Lindblad suffered a mechanical failure and could not complete Free Practice 1 for the Chinese Grand Prix Formula 1 race at Shanghai International Circuit on Friday.

Lindblad showed good pace on medium tyres early in this session but he would run into trouble before the third-way marker. The Racing Bulls youngster would appear to lose power and pull off the track at turn 14. A brief whisp of white smoke was seen in the driver's cockpit and he would climb from the stricken machine unharmed. The team will get to work on fixing the problem ahead of Sprint Qualifying.
