Struggles in decision defeat
Tybura lost to Tyrell Fortune via unanimous decision (27-30, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Seattle.
ANALYSIS
It was a woeful effort from Tybura against a 35-year-old opponent making his UFC debut. Marcin allowed Fortune to easily win each of the first two rounds despite the fact the latter didn't do much of anything. In fact, after 10 minutes, the significant strike count was 27-22 in Tybura's favor. He looked a bit better in Round 3 with Fortune clearly exhausted, but he never truly let his hands go and never significantly hurt his opponent at any point. Tybura turned 40 years old in November and hasn't been any sort of contender at heavyweight in quite a while, but he needs to put forth a better effort than this is what was close to a pick 'em fight.

Booked against Valter Walker
Tybura will take on Valter Walker in a heavyweight matchup at UFC Seattle on March 28, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Tybura suffered a first-round knockout at the hands of Ante Delija in September, snapping a two-fight winning streak. He now draws Walker, another ranked opponent, who was on a four-fight winning streak before his momentum was stalled a bit by a leg injury. Walker will bring a high-volume wrestling attack to the cage, though Tybura has formidable wrestling skills of his own, including a 75 percent takedown defense.

Inconsistent ways continue
Tybura lost to Ante Delija via TKO (punches) at 2:03 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Paris.
ANALYSIS
If there's a hole in Tybura's game, even in this latter stage of his career, it's a lack of durability. He's a big, lumbering guy and his chin has always been a question mark. Unfortunately for Marcin, it reared its ugly head once again here. Facing a debuting Delija, Tybura simply allowed his opponent to push forward without resistance and unload power shots which were eventually enough to earn the stoppage. Of Tybura's 10 career setbacks, a half dozen now have come via knockout. Set to turn 40 years of age in November, Marcin figures to hover around the .500 mark moving forward.

Taking on Delija in Paris
Tybrua will fight Ante Delija in a heavyweight bout at UFC Paris on Sept. 6, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Tybura has won two straight bouts to push his UFC record to 14-8. His last time in the Octagon, he disposed of Mick Parkin via unanimous decision back in March. Now, he'll take on Delija, a Croatian fighter who will make his UFC debut. Tybura should be a heavy favorite in this one.

Hands Mick Parkin first loss
Tybura defeated Michael Parkin via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in London.
ANALYSIS
Tybura is now 39 years old and wildly inconsistent, but he also has a ton of experience against quality opposition and has been in multiple main events during his time with the UFC. In other words, he's the perfect litmus test for a younger fighter such as Parkin. The two fought to virtually even terms this evening and the decision could have gone either way. Tybura landed 61 significant strikes compared to 60 for Mick. Both men connected on a takedown. Flip a coin. Marcin has very quietly won three of four dating back almost exactly a year.
