Returning to Minnesota
Bogosian (lower body) signed a one-year, $1.25 million contract with the Wild on Wednesday, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Across 41 regular-season appearances with Minnesota in 2025-26, Bogosian recorded two goals, four assists, 47 hits, 37 blocked shots and 18 PIM while averaging 14:33 of ice time. He dealt with a lower-body injury late in the regular season and during the playoffs, and it's not yet clear whether the issue will impact his availability for training camp in the fall.

Bogosian appeared in all but one regular-season game for the Wild in 2024-25, recording four goals, 16 points, 43 PIM, 81 hits and 80 blocks. The 35-year-old has been reliable in his brief Wild tenure, but he's never been a major point producer, and he's past the point in his career where he logs big minutes. Additionally, Minnesota will be looking to get young defensemen Zeev Buium and David Jiricek in the lineup, so it's very likely that even if Bogosian stays healthy, he won't see close to the 81 games he played last season. Look for an across-the-board decline in his numbers because of that decreased role.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Won't test open market
Bogosian is expected to re-sign with Minnesota, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Bogosian was limited to just 41 regular-season games due to injury last year, producing two goals and four helpers to go with 47 hits and 37 blocks. Given the blueliner's offensive limitations, fantasy managers likely don't need to be concerned about his contract status, as he figures to be a low-end target.
