Kuznetsov hasn't been in the lineup since March 14 versus the Islanders. Joel Hanley (upper body) will miss the rest of the 2025-26 campaign, so Kuznetsov is currently the Flames' seventh blueliner, but it remains to be seen when he'll get back into the lineup. Calgary's next game is Thursday in Vegas.

Kuznetsov will get into the lineup in part due to an upper-body injury suffered by Dennis Gilbert. In the minors this season, the 21-year-old Kuznetsov has garnered two goals, five assists and 13 PIM in 31 games with the Wranglers. Even with his promotion, Kuznetsov is unlikely to have a significant fantasy impact as he likely won't see a ton of minutes and eventually figures to head back to the minors.
