Borgen will add some toughness in a bottom-four role on the Bruins' blue line. He contributed five goals, 10 assists, 69 shots on net, 41 PIM, 111 hits and 99 blocked shots over 75 contests in his lone full campaign with the Rangers in 2025-26. The 29-year-old defenseman doesn't carry much fantasy appeal outside of banger leagues, as he's missed the 20-point mark in each of the last two years.

He scored four goals and added nine assists in 51 games with the Rangers after scoring just two points in 33 games with the Kraken. Borgen saw his role and ice time increase with the Rangers, playing in the top four and averaging over 18 minutes per night after averaging just over 15 minutes of ice time with the Kraken. The 28-year-old defenseman has a physical aspect to his game and some more offense to give, topping out at 203 hits and 25 points at different points in his career. Given his top-four role with the Rangers, Borgen could be a deep sleeper pick in the later rounds of fantasy drafts.
