Stastney split 2024-25 between the NHL and AHL, putting up just three assists in 23 games with the Predators as well as 17 points in 26 regular-season outings for AHL Milwaukee. Stastney doesn't have an obvious path to NHL minutes out of the gate for 2025-26, so he'll likely get more time with the Admirals in the coming season. At 25 years old, he'd need an extraordinarily strong training camp to challenge Nick Perbix or Nicolas Hague for a third-pairing spot. The vast majority of fantasy managers can look elsewhere for defensive depth.
