From a camp cut with the Flames to a three-year extension after proving himself with the Capitals, Milano saw the lowest and highest the NHL can offer in 2022-23. Overall, his 33 points in 64 games ended up being similar to the 34-point effort he managed a year before with the Ducks. When the Capitals are healthy, Milano is nothing more than a third-liner, but he's a capable fill in if other left wingers get hurt -- and that's a very realistic possibility, given Washington signed Max Pacioretty this summer. Milano could push for a 40-point campaign this year if he can stay in the lineup and earn some extra power-play time, so he's a fringe option in standard fantasy formats.
