Owen Power

Power took another step forward in his third full NHL campaign, reaching the 40-point mark (seven goals, 33 assists) for the first time. He did that with just six power-play points to his name, and he added 109 blocked shots and a minus-13 rating over 79 appearances. Power, the No. 1 overall pick in 2021, has plenty of promise, but it looks like he'll be in the shadow of Rasmus Dahlin as long as both of them are in Buffalo. However, Power is still just 22 years old, so he has plenty of time to grow into more responsibility and the uptick in production that comes with it. Power is a solid choice to round out a fantasy blue line in 2025-26, and the lower-body injury that ended his 2024-25 campaign in mid-April isn’t expected to linger into the new campaign. A return to the 40-point mark is the expectation.
