Acciari enters the final season of his three-year Penguins deal with one clear job: bring the grit. He'll kill penalties, throw the body, and maybe pot a few hard-earned goals in the process. The 33-year-old winger's 20-goal season in 2019-20 was an outlier, as he hasn't exceeded 10 goals in any other campaign and mustered just 12 points across 79 games in 2024-25. Even when he can stay fit, the veteran center has only reached the 25-point threshold once in his nine-year NHL career. The addition of Kevin Hayes in free agency figures to firmly cement Acciari in a fourth-line role this upcoming season - though he could be an option to move to wing if needed. Regardless of where he lines up, Acciari shouldn't be expected to produce much in terms of fantasy value.
