2025 Fantasy Outlook
Grebenkin registered 12 goals and 28 points in 50 AHL regular-season games between Toronto and Lehigh Valley in 2024-25. He added three helpers and four points in seven playoff outings with the Phantoms. Philadelphia acquired Grebenkin from the Maple Leafs on March 7. The 22-year-old forward didn’t earn a point in seven NHL appearances, but he made an impact by collecting 13 hits. Grebenkin could get a look as a bottom-six forward with the Flyers in the 2025-26 campaign, and his hard-nosed style could make him a pickup option in banger leagues. Read Past Outlooks
Could miss start of season
Grebenkin (upper body) may not be ready for the start of the 2026-27 campaign, Charlie O'Connor of PHLY Sports reports Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Grebenkin has been sidelined since March 21 versus the Sharks due to his upper-body problem, a stretch of 23 games that included the playoffs as well. Before getting hurt, the 23-year-old winger was mired in a 16-game goal drought, notching a mere three helpers along the way. Even when healthy, Grebenkin could find himself serving as a healthy scratch periodically.
