2025 Fantasy Outlook
Grebenkin registered 12 goals and 28 points in 50 AHL regular-season games between Toronto and Lehigh Valley in 2024-25. He added three helpers and four points in seven playoff outings with the Phantoms. Philadelphia acquired Grebenkin from the Maple Leafs on March 7. The 22-year-old forward didn’t earn a point in seven NHL appearances, but he made an impact by collecting 13 hits. Grebenkin could get a look as a bottom-six forward with the Flyers in the 2025-26 campaign, and his hard-nosed style could make him a pickup option in banger leagues. Read Past Outlooks
Will miss start of playoffs
Grebenkin (upper body) is not expected to be ready for the start of the postseason, Bill Meltzer of the Flyers' official site reports Thursday.
ANALYSIS
According to head coach Rick Tocchet, Grebenkin will need to get some practice time in before he can return to the lineup, and he hasn't been able to do much in the way of skating. While the team didn't put an official timeline on the 22-year-old winger's potential return, he should probably be expected to miss at least the first few games of the series.
