2025 Fantasy Outlook
Foligno has registered near-identical statistical seasons in the last two years with the Blackhawks. He had 17 goals, 37 points, 146 shots, 39 blocks and 192 hits across 74 appearances in 2023-24 before earning 15 goals, 35 points, 104 shots, 34 blocks and 200 hits through 78 outings in 2024-25. His average ice per match dropped to 15:55 last campaign after it was 17:46 during his first year in Chicago. Foligno played with a variety of linemates while meshing nicely alongside Teuvo Teravainen and Ilya Mikheyev. Foligno will turn 38 years old during the 2025-26 campaign, and the feisty veteran is a good bet for similar category coverage. Read Past Outlooks

Foligno was primarily brought in to serve as a veteran leader for the rebuilding Blackhawks last summer. He did just that in 2023-24 while serving as a solid secondary scorer for the team, finishing the campaign with 17 goals, 20 assists, 16 power-play points, 146 shots, 57 PIM and a whopping 192 hits while averaging 17:46 of ice time through 74 regular-season contests. Signed through 2025-26, Foligno will fill a similar role for Chicago over the next two campaigns, and while he should continue to lay plenty of hits in 2024-25, it wouldn't be surprising to see his offense dip a bit next season as the Blackhawks continue to add fresh talent up front to push their rebuild forward. That will limit his fantasy viability to deeper formats that reward the rough stuff.

ANALYSIS
Foligno is poised to miss the 30-point threshold for the first time since 2022-23, when he was with Boston. The veteran winger has notched three goals and eight assists, including two power-play points, in 37 contests for the Hawks. With his new club, Foligno figures to slot into a bottom-six role.
