Bourque's NHL career is off to a relatively humble beginning after he put up 25 points in 73 regular-season appearances as a rookie. He didn't play much in the playoffs, drawing in for just three of 18 postseason contests as the Stars opted for a more veteran roster. At 23 years old, Bourque still has room to grow, and while that could be tough for him to do in Dallas, there's plenty of reason to be optimistic. For one, he shot 13.8 percent last year despite averaging 12:41 of ice time. That shows his skill, though his efficiency could drop if he's able to grow his shot volume, which was just over one per game. Bourque will need to find a way to at least get consistent third-line usage in 2025-26, and even then, he's more a sleeper option in fantasy than a must-draft player.
