Murray is set to reprise his role as the Predators' No. 3 netminder this season after going 28-10-5 with a 2.07 GAA and a .932 save percentage in 43 regular-season games with AHL Milwaukee in 2024-25. Murray didn't see any NHL action last year but has performed well enough in the minors to get the occasional call-up when injuries arise. Murray could also get a look with Nashville should Justus Annunen's performance slip in the backup role. The Predators have resumed practicing during the final week of the Olympic break, and Murray's recall will allow him to serve as the team's goaltender during practice until Juuse Saros returns from the Olympics. However, Murray will presumably head back to the Admirals ahead of Nashville's game against Chicago on Feb. 26. Over 29 appearances with Milwaukee this year, Murray has gone 12-14-2 with a 2.86 GAA and .904 save percentage.
