2025 Fantasy Outlook
Murray is set to reprise his role as the Predators' No. 3 netminder this season after going 28-10-5 with a 2.07 GAA and a .932 save percentage in 43 regular-season games with AHL Milwaukee in 2024-25. Murray didn't see any NHL action last year but has performed well enough in the minors to get the occasional call-up when injuries arise. Murray could also get a look with Nashville should Justus Annunen's performance slip in the backup role. ANALYSIS
Murray has a 2.72 GAA and a .908 save percentage in 37 outings with AHL Milwaukee in 2025-26. He hasn't played in the NHL yet this campaign. It remains to be seen why Murray was called up. Juuse Saros and Justus Annunen are both currently listed as being healthy, but if either of them is dealing with something, then Murray would presumably serve as the backup goaltender for Thursday's game against Seattle.

Jake Oettinger recently returned from a long-term lower-body injury and Scott Wedgewood is now dealing with a lower-body injury of his own, potentially setting the stage for Murray to see more playing time this time around with the Stars. Murray was excellent in his lone top-level appearance of the year Jan. 8 against Minnesota, stopping all 23 shots he faced en route to a 4-0 win.
