Kastelic is a big, physical forward who racked up hits (218) and penalty minutes (106) despite just playing in 61 games with Boston in 2024-25. The 26-year-old set a career high with 14 points last season while averaging 10:44 of ice time. While his offensive ceiling likely isn't much higher than that, the four-year veteran will continue to be a heavy hitter as long as he stays healthy, which creates use cases for him in leagues that value hits and/or PIM. Kastelic closed his final season in Ottawa with five goals and 10 points in 63 games, nearly identical offensive numbers from the year prior. He also posted 100-plus hits (126) for a second straight campaign. He ended up being dealt to the Bruins in late June in the deal which sent Linus Ullmark to Ottawa. Set to play for a much more competitive team in Boston, Kastelic wouldn't appear to be a lock for a spot in the Opening Night lineup, so there's little chance he'll have any fantasy value this season.
