Of his 12 goals, eight came with the Hurricanes, though they were tallied on a rather unsustainable 38.1 percent of his 21 shots on goal. The 30-year-old is stuck behind Sebastian Aho, Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Jordan Staal on the center depth chart and doesn’t feature on the power play. The nine-year NHL veteran might be able to give you a hot streak in a pinch, but Jankowski likely won’t be able to deliver enough consistent goal-scoring production to warrant much fantasy consideration. Jankowski had a hand in the first and last goals of the contest. The 31-year-old center hasn't scored a goal this postseason, but he's picked up three assists over 10 outings while adding seven shots on net, 11 hits, eight blocked shots and a plus-1 rating. Jankowski continues to be a key part of the Hurricanes' bottom six and penalty kill, and that role was enough to get him a two-year contract extension May 11.

Jankowski saw action in a mere 32 regular-season contests for the Predators last season, instead spending the bulk of the 2023-24 campaign in minors with AHL Milwaukee. The 29-year-old forward was significantly more productive with the Admirals, racking up 47 points in 40 regular-season contests. At this point, the 21st overall pick from 2012 figures to remain a fringe roster player for the Predators and could once again play the majority of his games in the AHL. As such, fantasy managers likely will want to pursue alternative options on draft day.
