2025 Fantasy Outlook
Khusnutdinov was unable to establish himself regularly with the Wild in 2024-25 and joined the Bruins at the trade deadline. He had a total of 12 points, 41 shots on goal, 55 hits, 47 blocked shots and a minus-11 rating over 75 regular-season appearances. Khusnutdinov looks to be trending toward a bottom-six role at best in the NHL, though he is entering his age-23 season and could find a stronger scoring touch in the next few years. Don't expect him to push for much more than 20 points and third-line minutes heading into 2025-26, and be wary of a role reduction if Boston improves its forward group. Read Past Outlooks
Second goal in last 15 contests
Khusnutdinov scored a goal in Tuesday's 6-3 win over Dallas.
ANALYSIS
It was Khusnutdinov's 15th of the season, but just his second in his last 15 contests (two assists). He's skating on the team's top line with Fraser Minten and David Pastrnak, but that hasn't guaranteed output. Khusnutdinov's fantasy value is nominal. He has 76 shots, 39 hits and 38 blocks in 70 games this season.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
Khusnutdinov started the 2023-24 campaign in the KHL, but after recording six goals, 20 points and 45 PIM across 55 contests between St. Petersburg and Sochi, the Russian forward inked a two-year, entry-level contract with Minnesota in February. After joining the Wild, he recorded a goal, four points and six PIM in 16 contests while averaging 13:07 of ice time. The 22-year-old should start 2024-25 with the Wild, probably as their third-line center, but he might not be a regular on the power play. Although he has some offensive upside, Khusnutdinov doesn't have an especially high ceiling, and it would be best to regard him as a potentially solid role player instead of a high-end prospect.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Unlikely to join Providence
Khusnutdinov is not expected to join AHL Providence for the Calder Cup Playoffs, Mark Divver of the New England Hockey Journal reports Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Khusnutdinov has logged 17 games with the Bruins this season since being acquired from Minnesota prior to the trade deadline. In those appearances, the 22-year-old blueliner notched two goals and two assists. Given his age, it's somewhat surprising the team isn't going to have him get minutes in the AHL postseason, leading to speculation that he might be playing through a minor injury.
