2025 Fantasy Outlook
Sogaard is under contract for 2025-26, but he'll likely have a tough time getting NHL playing time after a terrible 2024-25 campaign. He allowed eight goals on 40 shots over two NHL games and also went 0-5-1 with a 3.69 GAA and a .858 save percentage in eight games with AHL Belleville. His poor performance allowed Leevi Merilainen to pass him on the organizational depth chart. Sogaard doesn't need to be drafted in the vast majority of fantasy formats, and he likely won't need to be rostered at all unless he is able to win the backup job in training camp, though he'll face an uphill battle.

He has appeared in one NHL game this season, stopping 13 of 17 shots in relief and earning an 8-7 win over the Kings on Oct. 14.
