Kaedan Korczak

Training camp will be a critical time for Korczak, as it will likely determine whether or not he makes the Opening Night roster. The blueliner's age (23) may work against him here, considering the team could move him to the minors rather than leaving him on the roster as a seventh defenseman. While that would certainly benefit his long-term development, fantasy managers will likely be scared off the prospect of him toiling away with AHL Henderson to start the year. Even once he makes the jump to the NHL level full-time, Korczak offers limited offensive upside since he has virtually no path to power-play time.

Barring an impressive camp, Korczak will begin the 2023-24 campaign with AHL Henderson. His chances of making the NHL roster will likely depend on the health of the Golden Knights' defense throughout the year. Considering Korczak is still just 22 years old, he would likely benefit from another full year in the minors before making the jump to the NHL on a more permanent basis. Korczak has racked up 28 points in 97 AHL contests over the last two years, so even when he gets to the NHL, he may not be that much of a scoring threat.
