2026 Fantasy Outlook
Woll had an unflattering 15-16-7 record, 3.34 GAA and .898 save percentage in 39 appearances last season, but those results were hindered by his circumstances. He missed part of training camp and the opening 18 games for personal reasons, and Toronto was a disaster in 2025-26. A trade to Philadelphia could give the backstop a fresh start; however, his workload will likely leave something to be desired, as he'll now sit firmly behind Dan Vladar as the No. 2 option. Woll has never made more than 42 appearances in a regular season, and that's unlikely to change with his new club. Woll might be an above-average netminder in 2026-27, but there's enough uncertainty here to make him no more than a No. 3 option for your fantasy squad in a 12-team league. Read Past Outlooks
Swapped in four-player trade
Woll and Simon Benoit were traded to Philadelphia from Toronto on Tuesday in exchange for Samuel Ersson, Emil Andrae and a 2026 third-round pick.
ANALYSIS
Woll saw action in 39 regular-season games for the Leafs this season, going 15-16-7 with a 3.34 GAA, .898 save percentage and two shutouts. With his new club, the 27-year-old backstop figures to slide into the backup role behind Dan Vladar, though he should still see about 25-35 games as the No. 2 option for the Flyers.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2025
2024
2023
Woll led the Maple Leafs with 42 games played, though his workload was due to some injuries Anthony Stolarz battled. When both were healthy, the crease was split pretty evenly between them, and the results were pretty good regardless of who was between the pipes. Stolarz's numbers were better, but Woll performed at a fine level with a 27-14-1 record, a 2.73 GAA and a .909 save percentage in 2024-25. Both goalies are under contract for 2025-26, so it's safe to assume the Maple Leafs won't make a change in goal. Even if they get an even split of starts again, the 27-year-old Woll is a viable No. 2 goalie in fantasy who could emerge as a low-end No. 1 if he gets a run of starts.
