2026 Projections
Inks one-year deal
Harris signed a one-year, $850,000 contract with the Bruins on Wednesday, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.
ANALYSIS
Harris had a goal and three points in four outings with AHL Providence as well as a goal and three points in eight appearances with Boston in the 2025-26 regular season. The 25-year-old blueliner will be in the mix for an Opening Night roster spot with Boston, but he will probably be a frequent healthy scratch if he does make the NHL team.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2025
2024
2023
Harris was limited to a goal, five points, six PIM, 15 shots, 23 hits and 35 blocks across 33 appearances with Columbus in 2024-25. That was well below the 17 and 14 regular-season points he recorded with the Canadiens in 2022-23 and 2023-24, respectively, which led the Blue Jackets to decide against giving him a qualifying offer. Harris was still able to find an opportunity for the upcoming campaign with Boston. However, there’s no guarantee he’ll make the Opening Night roster, and he might start the season as the Bruins’ seventh defenseman even if he does make the team. Under ideal circumstances, Harris has the potential to get back above 10 points, but a small workload will likely result in him finishing below that milestone in 2025-26.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Bound for Beantown
Harris is expected to sign with the Bruins, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Harris spent last season with the Blue Jackets, registering one goal, four assists and 23 hits in 33 regular-season games while averaging 11:23 of ice time. Columbus seemed unimpressed with the 24-year-old blueliner, deciding against giving him a qualifying offer. While details haven't been announced yet, it wouldn't be a shock if Harris' deal with Boston is a two-way contract.
