2025 Fantasy Outlook
Moser hit career lows offensively in the 2024-25 regular season, accounting for two goals and 14 points while being limited to 54 appearances. He missed 28 straight games from mid-December to early February because of a lower-body injury. Upon his return to the lineup, Moser chipped in only four assists in 32 outings, including five playoff contests. He reached the 30-point plateau once in three seasons with Arizona before joining the Lightning. Moser logged most of his playing time alongside Victor Hedman, and he is a decent source of blocks and hits, but the 25-year-old defender may be capable of around just 20 points in 2025-26. Sitting out regular-season finale
Moser (rest) won't play Wednesday versus the Rangers, Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Moser won't play in the regular-season finale but should be fine for Game 1 of the playoffs versus the Canadiens. The 26-year-old defenseman had 29 points over 79 outings this season and should be a shutdown defender during the postseason.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2024
2023
Moser was dealt to Tampa Bay in the offseason in the trade that sent Mikhail Sergachev to Utah. The 24-year-old Moser had five goals and 26 points over 80 contests last campaign. He was also credited with 112 blocked shots and a career-high 99 hits. Moser has reached the 30-point mark once in his first three NHL seasons and doesn't produce many shots on goal, which hinders his fantasy value. Still, he will probably occupy a top-four role and log big minutes on the penalty kill.

Nearing contract extension?
Moser is close to signing an eight-year extension with an average annual value of $6.75 million, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Moser would have been eligible for restricted free agency this summer upon the completion of his two-year, $6.75 million contract. The 25-year-old defenseman has three goals, 12 points, 26 hits and 43 blocks in 34 appearances in 2025-26. Although he's not an impactful force offensively, Moser has established himself as a regular in Tampa Bay's top four.
