Snuggerud made an immediate impact in the NHL after finishing his junior season with the University of Minnesota in 2024-25. He contributed one goal, three assists, 10 shots, four blocks and three hits in seven regular-season outings with the Blues before adding two goals, two helpers, 12 shots, three blocks and nine hits in seven playoff appearances. He logged time in the top-six group while splitting playing time alongside Robert Thomas and Brayden Schenn. The 21-year-old Snuggerud also logged action on the team's first power-play unit.
