2025 Fantasy Outlook
Malott’s great season with AHL Ontario (23 goals, 28 assists in 61 games) earned him his first NHL action since the 2021-22 season. He also suited up for all six of the Kings' playoff games. The 28-year-old had just one assist in his 18 total games at the NHL level, but it was encouraging that he was able to get top-level games again. He’ll battle for a spot on the Kings' roster in training camp, but he won’t hold too much fantasy value even if he were to make the team, as he'll likely be confined to a bottom-six role at best.
