McBain is not a major factor on offense, having failed to reach the 30-point mark in each of his three full NHL campaigns. However, he is one of the top physical forwards in the league, as he recorded 291 hits and 78 PIM in addition to a career-best 27 points in 2024-25. The 25-year-old's playing style makes him a good fit for the Mammoth's bottom six, but that doesn't bode particularly well for his offense taking a step forward at this point in his career. Utah's hearty prospect pool also poses a threat to McBain's ice time in the near future, though it may not come to a head in 2025-26. He'll be viable in banger leagues, but most fantasy managers can leave McBain on the draft board this fall.
