2026 Projections
2026 Fantasy Outlook
When Lindholm signed a seven-year deal with the Bruins in 2024, the expectation was that he would center the top line. That hasn't been the case consistently, and his production hasn't matched the role during his first two years with the team. Lindholm put up 17 goals, 31 assists, 114 shots on net, 59 blocked shots, 41 hits and a minus-7 rating over 69 regular-season appearances in 2025-26. That included some moves down to the middle six. If fantasy managers temper expectations, Lindholm is a fine depth center. At best, he'll offer 20-goal, 60-point upside, but he's more likely to hover around the 50-55 point range. He also chips in a bit of non-scoring production, though his shot volume has plummeted over the last four years. He should still be worth a mid-to-late round pick in formats that reward power-play scoring in particular. Read Past Outlooks
Scores in Game 5 win
Lindholm scored a goal on three shots, added four hits and blocked two shots in Tuesday's 2-1 overtime win over the Sabres in Game 5.
ANALYSIS
The Bruins made dramatic changes to their lines, which included Lindholm getting shuffled down to the third line. The moves paid off in a tight game, with Lindholm scoring an unassisted goal in the second period to tie the game at 1-1. It's his second tally over five games this postseason, and he's added eight shots on net, 15 hits, three blocked shots and a minus-2 rating. Regardless of where he lines up, Lindholm will be relied upon for key minutes.

Lindholm enjoyed a full 82-game season for the first time since his 42-goal 2021-22 campaign, but his 2024-25 season was far from those marks. The 30-year-old scored just 17 goals and added 30 assists in his first year with the Bruins. Staying healthy for a full season is encouraging, but the stark decline in his production is alarming. Signed to be the top-line center in Boston, he finished the year as the second-line center while also spending some time on the third line. He produced 14 points as part of Boston’s top power-play group that was banged up throughout the season, and that number should increase if key pieces like Charlie McAvoy stay healthy in 2025-26. Dedicating the offseason to preparation instead of recovery could help the two-way center begin camp fresh and ready to try and live up to the seven-year, $54.25 million contract he signed last offseason.

Making strides in recovery
Lindholm is getting closer to returning from a lower-body injury and could travel with the team for a three-game West Coast trip, Conor Ryan of The Boston Globe reports Monday.
ANALYSIS
Lindholm has been out of action for the Bruins' previous seven games due to his lower-body injury and figures to remain sidelined for at least Monday's contest against the Hurricanes. Prior to getting hurt, the 30-year-old center was putting together a decent start to the 2025-26 campaign with four goals and five helpers, including seven power-play points, in 13 outings.
