Brady Martin

Martin was selected by the Predators with the fifth overall pick in the 2025 NHL Draft after an impressive 2024-25 campaign with OHL Soo in which he recorded 33 goals, 39 assists and 68 PIM over 57 regular-season appearances. He had an opportunity to compete for a roster spot during training camp and made a strong impression, ultimately earning an Opening Night roster spot in a top-six capacity. Martin will attempt to provide a spark for a Predators team that had one of the worst offenses in the NHL last year, averaging just 2.59 goals per game, which was the second-worst mark in the league. He has some fantasy appeal as a waiver-wire pickup if he can make an impact at the NHL level, but he also carries some risk since he could be sent down if he experiences growing pains.
