The Maple Leafs had the luxury of keeping a 20-goal scorer on their third line for large portions of the season, though McMann's success mostly came from when he got promoted to a line with Auston Matthews. A lot remains up in the air for McMann's usage in 2025-26, but the more time he can get in the top six, the more likely he is to be a quality depth player in fantasy. He had 34 points in 74 games in 2024-25 and added 169 shots on net and 136 hits, so there's enough non-scoring production to give him a fairly stable floor. His 11.8 shooting percentage wasn't outrageously high either -- he simply needs enough ice time and opportunities with skilled linemates. McMann is a late bloomer in the NHL, but he has the skills to be effective as a versatile player.
