Jones logged a career-high 26 games with Minnesota during the 2024-25 regular season, but he didn’t record a single point over that span. Still, the 26-year-old did collect a respectable 51 hits, but it’s rare in the modern NHL to see a forward fail to contribute anything offensively across that long a stretch, even when regulated to a fourth-line job. No other forward finished the season with zero points while logging as many or more games last year. Jones remains a member of the Wild organization and should get a look during training camp for a fourth-line assignment, but he’s more likely to spend the bulk of 2025-26 in the AHL.
