2025 Fantasy Outlook
After playing professionally in Finland for several years, Hyry joined Dallas’ organization last season. The 24-year-old made his NHL debut but notched just one helper over five appearances during the 2024-25 regular season. However, Hyry delivered a more encouraging 24 goals, 49 points and a plus-15 rating across 67 regular-season appearances with AHL Texas. The Finnish winger has the size and weight (6-foot-3, 214 pounds) to be an NHL lineup fixture in the future, but he’ll most likely continue his development in the minors this campaign. Hyry is definitely a player worth tracking, especially if he establishes himself with the big club at any point in 2025-26 and beyond. Read Past Outlooks
Won't play Thursday
Hyry (lower body) will not be in action versus the Wild in Game 6 on Thursday, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Hyry is pointless in his previous four outings while chipping in seven hits, three shots and two blocks. With the 25-year-old forward on the shelf, Michael Bunting is expected to serve in a bottom-six role in his playoff debut. Still, once Hyry is given the all-clear, he should be capable of retaking his spot in the lineup.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Making NHL debut
Hyry will make his NHL debut against the Senators on Thursday, Stars radio analyst Bruce LeVine reports.
ANALYSIS
Hyry earned his promotion by putting up numbers in the minors, generating 14 goals and 12 helpers in 29 games with AHL Texas. It's his first season playing in North America after coming up through the ranks with Karpat in Finland. While Hyry will undoubtedly be thrilled to make his NHL debut, he probably shouldn't be expected to stay with the big club long-term.
