2025 Fantasy Outlook
Cristall led the WHL in scoring with 132 points in 57 regular-season games between Kelowna and Spokane in 2024-25. He also topped the WHL playoffs with 21 goals in 19 games while adding 20 assists. The 20-year-old forward turned heads at Washington’s training camp last fall. He should be in the mix to see NHL playing time in 2025-26, even if he doesn’t crack the Opening Night roster. Cristall possesses plenty of fantasy value in keeper leagues, and he could be a factor in standard formats if he occupies a middle-six role with the Capitals. Read Past Outlooks
Scores pair for Hershey
Cristall scored two goals in AHL Hershey's 5-2 win over Bridgeport in Game 2 on Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Cristall helped the Bears get through to the next round of the AHL playoffs. This was just his second postseason contest after he logged 20 goals and 60 points over all 72 regular-season games as a rookie for Hershey this year. Cristall has plenty of talent, and another strong campaign in 2026-27 could earn him his NHL debut.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Might win roster spot
Cristall might start the 2024-25 campaign in the NHL, per Sammi Silber of The Hockey News.
ANALYSIS
Cristall excelled with WHL Kelowna last year, scoring 40 goals and 111 points in 62 regular-season games before adding another four goals and 15 points across 11 playoff appearances. The 19-year-old forward can play up to nine games with the Capitals and still return to Kelowna without this counting as the first season of his entry-level contract. Importantly, that's games played rather than contests for Washington -- it doesn't count toward his total when he's a healthy scratch. Cristall's scoring potential makes him worth keeping an eye on, especially because he might see some time on the second power-play unit.
