2025 Fantasy Outlook
Texier set career highs in 2023-24 with 12 goals and 30 points in 78 outings with the Blue Jackets, but a combination of injury, illness and some time as a healthy scratch limited Texier to only 30 regular-season games with St. Louis last campaign, resulting in him recording just six goals, 11 points, 10 PIM, 50 shots, 20 hits and 11 blocks. Under ideal circumstances, he can get back to that 30-point mark in his age-26 season, but the opportunity for him to play enough to do that might not exist with the Blues. You should consequently pencil him in for 10-20 points. Read Past Outlooks
Remains out of lineup
Texier (lower body) is not playing in Sunday's home matchup versus New Jersey, per Eric Engels of Sportsnet.
ANALYSIS
Texier hasn't been in the lineup since March 24, as he's missed the last six games. It remains unclear if he is close to returning to game action, but his next opportunity to suit up will be at home against the Panthers on Tuesday.

Texier returned to the NHL last season after a year in Switzerland, and he was finally able to stay healthy, producing 12 goals and 18 assists across 78 games. The 25-year-old now gets a fresh start in St. Louis with a two-year, $4.2 million contract where he'll likely slot in as a winger, although his ability to play center makes him versatile and should keep him in the middle six. However, he'll mostly play on the third line, limiting his fantasy upside outside of deeper formats. Dynasty managers should keep tabs on his progress considering his youth.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Drawing plenty of interest
Pierre LeBrun of TSN reports Saturday that nine NHL clubs have shown interest in signing Texier, but it's down to two Eastern Conference teams that the forward and his agent, Dan Milstein, are deciding on.
ANALYSIS
Texier was placed on unconditional waivers by the Blues on Saturday for the purpose of terminating his contract. Provided that he clears waivers, he will be an unrestricted free agent. The 26-year-old has failed to play regularly since being drafted in the second round in 2017, so he likely wouldn't play a significant role when he links up with a new club. His career high in points is 30, which he set in 2023-24 across 78 games with Columbus.
