2025 Fantasy Outlook
Klapka brings a bit of snarl to the Flames' bottom six, and after signing a two-year contract in June, he's well-positioned for a full NHL campaign. Last season, he had 10 points, 108 hits, 44 shots on goal and 29 PIM over 31 appearances with Calgary. Klapka is a big-bodied forward, so a third-line role is likely his peak unless the team decides to ignite his offense in a top-six spot. Klapka should be able to push for 20-plus points and could also challenge the 200-hit mark if he's a regular in the lineup in 2025-26, which gives him appeal in banger leagues. Read Past Outlooks

ANALYSIS
Klapka's goal came at 19:52 of the third period to give the Flames some extra insurance. The 25-year-old doesn't regularly get power-play time, so this is unlikely to lead to a significant boost in offense over the remainder of the season. 2024 Fantasy Outlook
Klapka is a towering forward who looked great in the AHL in 2023-24, recording 21 goals, 46 points and 90 points in 65 regular-season contests with the Wranglers. He also got a taste of the NHL last season in which he had a goal, 19 PIM and 23 hits across six games with Calgary. Although the 24-year-old has shown some two-way capabilities in the minors, if he's going to stick in the NHL, it will likely be due to his defensive and physical play. Klapka might make regular appearances on the Flames' fourth line in 2024-25 and consequently get plenty of PIM and hits, but points will be in short supply from him.
