Zack Sharp News: Traded Wednesday
Sharp and Shakir Mukhamadullin were acquired by Edmonton from San Jose on Wednesday in exchange for Darnell Nurse.
Sharp had five goals and 19 points in 37 appearances with Western Michigan University as a sophomore in 2025-26. The Sharks took him with the No. 124 overall pick in the 2025 NHL Draft. The 21-year-old is likely to be a long-term project for the Oilers, so don't expect him to be in the conversation for an NHL roster spot over the next couple of years.
