Koivunen scored twice and added an assist in AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's 8-1 win over Springfield in Game 5 on Saturday.

Koivunen hadn't earned a point in the first four games of the series. He broke out to get WBS to the Eastern Conference Finals with a 3-2 series win. Koivunen has produced three goals and four assists across nine playoff contests this year.
