Philippe Daoust News: Returns to Ottawa

Daoust signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Senators on Wednesday.

Daoust hasn't yet made his NHL debut, and he became an unrestricted free agent Wednesday after he didn't receive a qualifying offer from Ottawa. However, he'll rejoin the Senators on a two-way deal on the first day of free agency. Across 63 regular-season appearances with AHL Belleville last year, he recorded 14 goals, 36 assists and 24 PIM.
