Owen Michaels News: Signs two-year contract

Michaels signed a two-year, $1.8 million contract with Edmonton on Monday.

Michaels signed a one-year, entry-level contract with the Oilers on April 2, but he didn't make his NHL debut. He had 13 goals and 26 points in 39 appearances with Western Michigan University during his junior year in 2025-26. It wouldn't be surprising if he started the 2026-27 campaign with AHL Bakersfield.
