Jamie Benn News: First goal in 10 games
Benn scored a goal Tuesday in a 6-3 loss to the Bruins.
It was Benn's first goal in 10 games (four assists). It got the Stars on the board early in the second period and drew them to within 2-1. Benn's game has changed at 36, but he can still help in spurts like he did leading into and coming out of the Olympics. He went into that break on a four-game, eight-point streak that included two goals, and he had seven points (five goals, two assists) in the eight games right after. However, that seems to have dried up. Benn remains a daily option from the wire if and when he heats up again.
