Georgi Merkulov News: Sent to Providence

Merkulov was reassigned to AHL Providence on Friday.

Merkulov picked up his first career point Saturday as he assisted on Trent Frederic's second goal of the campaign. It's Merkulov's only point in three games -- though he's produced two goals and nine assists in 12 AHL games this season.
