Gannon Laroque News: Poised to test free agency

Laroque was not tendered a qualifying offer from the Canadiens on Monday, PuckPedia reports.

Laroque can now sign with a new organization when free agency opens Wednesday. The right-shot defenseman has a troubling injury history, so it may be difficult for him to find a new team to sign with. He hasn't played in a professional game since 2023-24, when he split time between AHL San Jose and ECHL Wichita.
