Calvin Pickard News: Agrees to one-year deal
Pickard signed a one-year, $1 million contract with the Wild on Wednesday.
Pickard had a 3.68 GAA and an .871 save percentage in 16 regular-season appearances with Edmonton in 2025-26. He also had a 3.26 GAA and an .886 save percentage in eight regular-season outings with AHL Bakersfield last campaign. Filip Gustavsson (hip) is questionable for the start of the 2026-27 season, which could open the door for Pickard to be Jesper Wallstedt's backup out of the gate.
