Bowman's move to the AHL is likely to clear cap space. The 22-year-old winger has produced 26 points, 75 shots on net and a minus-16 rating over 54 appearances in the NHL this season, but he's been scratched for the Golden Knights' last five outings. That drop in playing time, combined with his waivers-exempt status, makes him the easy move to make at this time.
