Amadeus Lombardi News: Inks two-year deal

Lombardi agreed to terms on a two-year, $1.75 million contract with New Jersey on Friday.

Lombardi's deal starts as a two-way contract in 2026-27 before converting to a one-way deal the following year. As such, the 23-year-old center should be expected to play the bulk of his minutes this year in the minors, but he could get a shot at making his NHL debut if he continues to show the scoring touch that saw him generate 42 points in 47 regular-season games for AHL Grand Rapids last year.
