2026 Fantasy Outlook
Perez put together a solid season on the PGA Tour that included eight top-25 finishes. The big news for Perez is that instead of returning for another season on the PGA Tour he has signed a deal with join Cleeks GC for the 2026 LIV Golf season. The Frenchman played in the PGA Championship (MC) and the U.S. Open (T19) last season. Perez is not currently exempt for any majors in 2026 and will have to battle to qualify for them. T9 in Scotland, earns spot in The Open
July 12, 2026
Perez fired a four-under 66 in the final round of the Genesis Scottish Open to finished tied with Si Woo Kim for ninth.
ANALYSIS
Perez entered the weekend with momentum following a bogey-free, six-under 64 in the second round. He stalled Saturday with an even-par 70 but rebounded with a strong final round, when he went four-under on the front nine. Perez's efforts Sunday were enough for him to join Johnny Keefer and Michael Thorbjornsen as the top-3 players at the Scottish Open, not already exempt, to earn a spot in The Open Championship next week. With that, Perez joins fellow LIV Golfers Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau, Tyrrell Hatton and 2022 Open Championship winner Cameron Smith who will tee off next week at golf's oldest major. Perez finished the Scottish Open ranked fifth in both SG: Putting (plus-5.90 strokes) and birdies, 13th in both scrambling and GIR, 15th in SG: Off-the-Tee and T24 in driving accuracy.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2025
2024
After years of dipping in and out, Perez finally played on the PGA Tour full-time this past season and for the most part, the season was a success. After missing his first three cuts of the season, Perez found some consistency and even found some upside when he finished T3 at the RBC Canadian Open. With a year on the PGA Tour under his belt, expect Perez to improve in most facets of the game and show a solid improvement on the bottom line. Perez could be a surprisingly good salary cap play this season.
The highlight of Perez's 2023 season was his Rolex Series win at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship in January. He went through a bit of a funk early in the fall with four straight missed cuts but finished strong with top-10s in two of his last three starts. Perez also scored a T12 finish at the PGA Championship to show he can compete with the best in the world. The Frenchman is a solid iron player and putter which will play anywhere. There is sure to be some growing pains with a full PGA Tour season, but he's a good enough player to contend for a playoff spot.
