2026 Fantasy Outlook
Hatton jumped ship to the LIV Golf league in 2024 and had a solid campaign, winning LIV Golf Nashville and finishing fourth overall in the individual standings. However, his second season in the breakaway tour was not so good, as he finished in the top 5 in just two LIV Golf tournaments (Mexico City and Dallas) while finishing in the bottom half in the league in driving accuracy, scrambling opportunities and putts per hole. Hatton made the cut in all four majors, and he was close to capturing the U.S. Open Championship after taking the outright lead late in the final round before ending the day with back-to-back bogeys to settle for a T4 finish. That finish guaranteed a spot in The Masters in 2026, and Hatton should be a strong contender in each of the major tournaments while serving as a main contributor to Legion XIII’s Team Championship defense in LIV Golf. Share of 38th in South Africa
Hatton posted a 10-under cumulative score at LIV Golf South Africa to finish in a five-way tie for 38th.
ANALYSIS
Hatton ended the tournament shooting 11-under par over the final two rounds and would've finished higher had it not been for his three-over 74 score Friday. It's been an inconsistent 2026 season for Hatton, who has finished T38 or worse in three of five LIV Golf tournaments, finishing T3 and T10 in the other two events. His accuracy off the tee has been his kryptonite this year, as he ranks T43 in driving accuracy. Hatton is in the field for The Masters in three weeks, where he's made the cut in seven of nine prior appearances and finished T9 and T14 in 2024 and 2025, respectively.

Hatton was the second-biggest name to jump ship from the PGA Tour to LIV Golf last season, and the Englishman ended up joining the other defector, Jon Rahm, on Legion XIII. Hatton’s brash and curse-riddled commentary could easily be picked up on the mics and by the fans, but nonetheless, he was one of the top performers of the LIV Golf League in 2024. He finished fourth in the individual season standings with 161.49 points, won LIV Golf Nashville in June and accrued points in all but one tournament (Greenbrier). Hatton did fairly well in the majors, with his ninth-place finish at The Masters being his best outings of the four (he finished T63 at the PGA Championship, T26 at the U.S. Open Championship and missed the cut at The Open). Hatton should be in the field for all four majors in 2025.
