Noh posted a four-under 66 during the final round of the 119 Visa Argentina Open to finish tied with Chris Korte for second, one stroke behind winner Alistair Docherty.

Noh and Docherty entered the final round tied at the top of the leaderboard, with the former posting scores of 66-63-64 over the first three days of the tournament. Noh took the lead after posting a four-under front nine, but he was unable to gain ground on the back, with his two birdies (including at the par-4 18th hole) being countered by two bogeys, and he fell short from capturing the second Korn Ferry Tour victory of his career. Despite ranking near the bottom of the field in driving accuracy, Noh was the third-best scrambler in the field, finished in the top-5 in bogeys and birdies made and T18 in GIR. He'll be in the field for the Astara Chile Classic next week.

The 30-year-old Korean made six starts and just one cut. He earned six FedEx Cup points for tying for 54th at the Valero Texas Open but didn't play past May. He has a major medical extension that grants him 16 more starts, needing to accumulate 291.565 points. He's surely young enough. But does he remain good enough? Probably not. Or healthy enough? He was healthy enough to try for a full card via the Korn Ferry playoffs.

Noh had a fairly decent season last year, but it could have been a lot better if he had finished well. Noh had three top-10s on the season, two of which came during the 2017 portion of the season. His best effort was a T5 at the Wells Fargo Championship, which helped him crack the $1 million mark for the third time in his career. The problem when assessing his prospects for this season is, although he's been above the $1 million mark three times, he's also been below $800k three times. Noh appears to have enough potential to significantly improve upon his number from last year, but he's probably not worth the risk.

Noh picked-up his first PGA Tour win in 2014 and since then, he hasn't accomplished much. It's not uncommon for guys that win for the first-time, to let-up a bit, but if that's what Noh is doing, he's taken it a little too far as he almost lost his playing privileges for the upcoming season. Noh is capable of making over $2 million, as he proved in 2014, but his erratic play over the past two season is worrisome. At his price, he is worth a look, but maybe not a long one. In draft leagues, he'll go in the 10th-round or later.

Noh struggled in his second season on the PGA Tour in 2013, but that's often the case for guys that play well during their rookie season. Whatever the issue was during his second season, he seems to have worked it out and appears to be headed back in the right direction. Noh is a solid player and it's possible that he could improve upon his 2014 numbers this season. With that said, the bar was set pretty-high last year, which means it's probably wise to pass on him in salary cap leagues this year. In draft leagues he should go in the 5th round.

Talk about covering your bases. Noh struggled on the 2013 PGA Tour, but he hopped over to Web.com Tour and regained his status for 2013-14 season.

Noh started his rookie season pretty well last year with a couple top-25s early, but he really caught stride near season's end, which is a good sign entering this season. Among the highlights were three top-10s in seven events during summer and a stretch of five top-25s in his last seven events to close the year. Noh has a load of talent and at this price, he's almost of a must. There's no reason to think last year was a fluke, as he played well from beginning to end. If he takes his game up a notch this season it could result in a significant increase in earnings. In draft leagues, Noh should go in the fourth or fifth round.

Noh was the leading money-winner on the Asian Tour last season, and while that doesn't often translate well to the PGA Tour, he has a step up on most of his classmates because he's actually won a couple professional events. He's also made the cut in seven of his 11 appearances on the PGA Tour. Noh qualified for the PGA Tour through Q-School where he finished third.
