Pontus Nyholm

28-Year-Old Golfer
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Nyholm managed only two top-10 results throughout 26 events played on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2025, but he made them count, tying for eighth at the AdventHealth Championship a week before winning the Visit Knoxville Open with an eagle on the first playoff hole to defeat No. 1 KFT player Johnny Keefer. The 6-foot-3 Swede ended the season ranked seventh among his KFT peers in driving distance and 14th in par-5 scoring, but Nyholm really struggled to find fairways. His results figure to be similarily volatile as a rookie at the PGA Tour level. Read Past Outlooks
Share of 14th at TCHO
March 29, 2026
Nyholm carded a three-under 67 during the final round of the Texas Children's Houston Open to finish in a five-way tie for 14th.
ANALYSIS
Nyholm scored under par in all four rounds and went nine-under over the final three days of the tournament, with his four-under 66 score Friday being his best at Memorial Park. He ranked T12 in birdies made, 14th in both driving distance and SG: Approach, T19 in GIR and in the top-30 in SG: Off-the-Tee and SG: Putting. Nyholm finished near the bottom in driving accuracy (T64), but that didn't matter on a course with non-penal fairway roughs. The 28-year-old Swede has finished T13-T6-MC-T14 over his last four tournaments after missing the cut in each of his first outings of the 2026 PGA Tour season. Nyholm is trending in the right direction heading into the Valero Texas Open, which will be his first-career appearance at TPC San Antonio.
