2026 Fantasy Outlook
Rodgers has been on the PGA Tour for about a decade now, and although his play has improved over the past few years, it's safe to say he is what he is. He's a very consistent golfer that's lacking upside. In his 10 years on the PGA Tour, Rodgers has just four top-3s, but he has a bunch of top-10s and top-25s. He also plays a lot, often more than 30 times in a season, which is helpful is a lot of formats. Rodgers makes for a solid, reliable piece on a draft team, but there's simply not enough upside to take him in a salary cap format this season. Read Past Outlooks
Drops to T52 at Pebble Beach
Rodgers carded a one-over 73 during the final round at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am to finish tied with Chris Kirk and Keith Mitchell for 52nd.
ANALYSIS
Rodgers opened the tournament strongly with an eight-under 64 in the first round at the Spyglass course, though he failed to translate that success to Pebble Beach, where he posted an even-par cumulative score across three rounds. He actually led the field in SG: Around the Green, though he ranked 50th in SG: Putting and outside the top-70 in SG: Off-the-Tee, SG: Approach-to-Green, driving accuracy and GIR. Rodgers has finished T44 or worse in three of his last four Tour outings, but he's 17th in the FedExCup Standings thanks to his solo third at the Sony Open in January. He's in The Genesis Invitational next week, where he finished T3 in 2025 at Torrey Pines Golf Course, though he missed the cut in each of the three years prior, when the signature event was held at Riviera Golf Club.

When looking at Rodgers' career numbers year by year, it appears as though he improved his game significantly in 2023 when he crushed his previous season-high earnings number, but a closer look reveals that he benefited greatly from the increase in purse size that the entire Tour experienced in 2023. Rodgers did play some of his best golf that season, but it wasn't much different than what he had done in the previous seven seasons on the PGA Tour. This past season, while making less than $3.5 million, he managed his best ranking to close a season. Rodgers has improved over the past few years, just not at a fast enough rate to make him a good salary cap selection this season.
