2026 Fantasy Outlook
It's not often to find a 24-year-old with as much experience as Hojgaard. The 2023 Ryder Cupper is entering his fourth year on Tour after finishing 88th on the points list. That feels a bit lower than he should be, but Hojgaard typically doesn't play stateside until February and spends most of the fall on the DP World Tour. Although he's yet to win on the PGA Tour, he has the type of game that makes you think it's only a matter of time. He ranked third in driving distance and 11th in SG: Approach ,which helped lead to a pair of top-10s on each Tour. Consistency can be an issue at times, but the ceiling should give fantasy managers plenty to be excited about. Read Past Outlooks
Third in GIR at Farmers
Hojgaard fired a three-under 69 on Sunday at the Farmers Insurance Open to finish 10-under and tied for 22nd.
ANALYSIS
Hojgaard's final round at Torrey Pines was highlighted by an eagle on the par-5 ninth to ultimately play hole Nos. 5-9 in a collective five-under-par. Momentum halted after making the turn, but he still finished the week ranked third among the field in GIR percentage and fifth in putting from inside 10 feet. Hojgaard will tee it up again this week at TPC Scottsdale for his second career WM Phoenix Open appearance, having tied for 36th in his debut here last year.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2025
2024
Hojgaard wasted little time getting accustomed to the PGA Tour, finishing runner-up at Torrey Pines in his first start, but he only picked up one other top-20 at Augusta the rest of the year. Not to be confused with his brother, Rasmus, who will be joining the Tour in 2025, Nicolai stormed onto the scene on the DP World Tour in 2023 to make the Ryder Cup team, but has struggled to recapture that form. He's a long hitter and quality ball striker with a high ceiling, but fantasy managers are going to need some patience due to his inconsistency.
